M800 Automatic Stud Welding Machine

Technical Data
Configuration and Equipment
-
working area
The size of the working area can be adjusted customer-specific within the minimum and maximum dimensions.
X-axis (min.-max.): 300-800 mm
Y-axis (min.-max.): 300-600 mm
Z-axis: 200 mm
The entire working area can be reached through each welding head. -
configuration 1-axis (X-axis), 2-axis (X-/Y-axis) or 3-axis (X-/Y-/Z-axis)
-
premium axes with high-precision guides and ball screw or belt drive, optional also use of length measuring systems
inside slide mountings avoid damages caused by dust or weld splatters -
robust and warp resistant welded steel machine frame
-
high positioning accuracy of the machine due to robust configuration
stud positioning accuracy: < ± 0,2 mm -
high processing speed of studs due to dynamic step motors, optional servo motors
operating speed of the axes: max. 0,5 m/s -
up to 2 welding heads applicable
-
easy accessibility of the machine (compact 19“ control is integrated in the frame)
-
flexible fixing of mass clamps on a T-slot plate
-
short set-up and retooling times
-
quick change system for welding head
-
logic and easy-to-use operating interface
-
ample program memory
-
Fast and easy programming by entering the welding coordinates on an external PC. Thus idle times by programming on the machine can be avoided.
-
free zero points (zero point shift)
-
re-weld function with program continuation
-
welding parameter monitoring and documentation (by stud welding units PRO-D/PRO-C)
- recording of charging voltage, welding time, welding energy and arc voltage for each weld
- recording of stud travel (lift, piston runtime, immersion depth) for each weld [only when an automatic welding head with travel measuring system is used]
- comparison of the recorded parameters to the parameters of a reference weld (tolerances adjustable)
- in case of variances to the reference weld a warning is displayed or the unit is locked for further welds until the release by the operator (functionality can be switched off)
- storage of the last ten welding parameter sets
- optional (also retrofitable): welding parameter memory for the storage of 24500 welding parameter sets (storage with date and time) with RS232-interface for data transmission (welding parameter sets) to a PC - automatic stud feeding
-
suitable stud welding units:
PRO-C 1000: for capacitor discharge stud welding (contact and gap method)
PRO-C 1500: for capacitor discharge stud welding (contact and gap method)
PRO-D 1200: for short cycle and drawn arc stud welding
PRO-D 1600: for short cycle and drawn arc stud welding -
suitable automatic stud welding heads:
KHA-200 F: for capacitor discharge (gap method), short cycle and drawn arc stud welding
optional with travel measuring system
KKA-200 F: for capacitor discharge stud welding (contact method) -
CE-conform according to EC machinery directive
Description
The MOD 800 is a fully automatic stud welding machine for capacitor discharge, short cycle and drawn arc stud welding. The modular design enables the customer-specific configuration and equipment (e.g. wide choice in the size of the working area within the minimum and maximum dimensions; configuration 1-axis (X-axis), 2-axis (X-/Y-axis) or 3-axis (X-/Y-/Z-axis); number of welding heads). Due to the flexible conception further customer-specific adjustments are possible.
Details/Options
-
machine protection cover, light curtain for safeguarding the working area or sound insulation housing
-
DXF data import
An internal CAD program converts customer-specific DXF-data into an ubiquitous DXF-format and prepares it for further processing on a PC. Afterwards the processed data is automatically transferred to the control.
visualization of the program sequence -
pneumatic single stud feeding through manual insertion (e.g. for special applications)
-
fluid spraying device for spraying the welding position before welding
-
milling head with suction device for simple milling operations
-
pneumatic mass clamps
-
workpiece downholder for welding head
-
stud switch
-
customer-specific handling systems can be adapted
